'Twas Never Thus is a debut solo exhibition by analogue collage artist Sorcha O'Higgins.

Working with found and vintage print media — National Geographics, Playboys, war archives, Financial Times clippings — O'Higgins pieces together fragments of the past to make an argument about the present. War, the female body, capitalism: different emergencies, same source, fresh rage. The work is political, visually bold, and frequently funny.

There’ll be art for sale. And a piñata to smash. And a party.

Come ready to take a swing.
